Background and needs

The Galec Support and Organization Department, the purchasing center of the distributor E. Leclerc, is responsible for the collection and quality of the data necessary for the marketing of products on the various formats and distribution channels. This data is a key issue for the Brand (purchase and supply of products, customer information). The process of collecting and upgrading data is based on a platform that Leclerc wishes to challenge. To do this, the Group needs a study of the market for solutions addressing this issue in order to be in a position to challenge the current service provider and to test other solutions with certain manufacturers.

Actions and deliverables

  • Organization of a working session with Leclerc to properly qualify the need, the challenges and define the scope and the key research criteria
  • Analysis of the market and the positioning of key players, in order to organize them into categories and sub-categories of solutions
  • Identifying solutions
  • Further qualification on a selection of solutions for the implementation of tests
